WHY CHOOSE BIO-Vega's NATURAL HEALTH PRODUCTS ?
If all wines are not born equal, the same goes for phytotherapy products. Thus, BIO-Vega products are distinguished by :
The care with which raw materials are selected.
The wide variety of plants and natural substances used in the compositions.
The extraction methods which isolate the plant’s sought properties, increase their concentration and thus ensure a maximum efficiency of the products.
But above all, the great distinction of BIO-Vega products lies in the exclusivity of its recipes strongly influenced by the ancient traditions of Chinese as well as Oriental medicine, and in the variety and finesse of the methods of extraction of the active elements of plants and natural substances.
Our production processes comply with Health Canada’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Guidelines.
ABOUT THE MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS
Blessed Thistle supports the digestive functions by stimulating secretions and promoting nutrient absorption. Digestive bitters, also known as tonic herbs, or digestive herbs stimulate the digestive system via the vagus nerve, and help improve its functioning. Bitters are equivalent to tonics for the digestive system, since in addition to stimulating secretions, they also promote the assimilation and absorption of nutrients. Cnicus benedictus leaves are traditionally used as an ingredient in bitter drinks to stimulate the appetite and promote digestion. Commission E acknowledges the use of the plant to treat loss of appetite. It is generally believed that the bitter principles it contains, including cnicin, stimulate the salivary glands and trigger an increased secretion of gastric juices, stimulating appetite and promoting digestion. The recommended dose for our product REGU-DIGEST is 1 capsule twice daily, totaling 3 000 mg a day. It’s within the limits set by Health Canada of 2 to 30 g of seeds per day.
